Louie Mac OS
More recent versions of Mac OS have switched over to using zsh as the default shell. If your version is older, it still uses bash as default. In that case, you can make edits to.bashrc or.bashprofile. Running (System) Python. When you run python in Terminal, it will suggest using the python3 command instead. Falcon 4.0 is a combat flight simulation video game developed by MicroProse and published by Hasbro Interactive in 1998. The game is based around a realistic simulation of the Block 50/52 F-16 Fighting Falcon jet fighter in a full-scale modern war set in the Korean Peninsula.

Looks like an interesting piece of software. Thanks for pointing it out, and for the fix!

Anyone seen mrproject (from codefactory) ported to OS X? Larry.
I wouldn't hold my breath for an OS X port of MrProject. But I'd imagine that you can install the GNOME Desktop, and then install MrProject relatively easily.Since I don't have any GNOME software on my Mac, I can't really advise much further than pointing you at fink for installing the GNOME Desktop from the fink distribution.
Good luck!

Off-Topic slightly...
I have been looking for something to free me of my Microsoft Project fixation and this seems to be the one.
I have a question though, how do you alter the resources type in the settings dialog?
You might want to also look at Fast Track, published by AEC software ( http://www.aecsoft.com/ ).
In the past it was fairly unstable, but it's latest version has proven fairly solid. Easy to set up, and easy to use (esp. if you know project). Lot's of features, although a few little niggly things will piss you off if you use it often... (esp. the way resources are assigned to tasks and tracked. It's so cumbersome to be useless).
FastTrack looks very interesting. But being the lone Mac user who dares to replace his office PC in a Windows-only company, I would need some compelling reasons to come up with my own funds to buy FastTrack. However, I can see this product being perfect for the career project manager.
Thanks for the pointer!

I've found that while you can't edit the existing resource roles, you can add new ones under the Edit, Settings menu option.

I am using 10.2.8, wth the latest 1.4.1 Java update, and it runs extremely slow on my iBook Dual USB (granted, I need to upgrade). I downloaded this at work and it is rather snappy on Windows. Has anyone used this on OSX? Is there some optimization trick I'm missing?
Reader Dipak Patel and I had been trying unsuccessfully to get PDF export to work until his question in the help forum prompted an answer to download the .zip file rather than just the .java file. The .zip file is larger because it includes the necessary libraries for this feature.Woo hoo! Thanks Dipak!

P.S. If you have a large project, the chart might not be readable in the exported PDF format. You may still have to print to PDF directly (or from the HTML export to customize page size) to generate multiple sheets to get larger print.

And if you've started by downloading the .zip file, and you're using the preference file I posted initially, you'll have to modify it slightly to accommodate for the slightly more complicated file structure.

- names the application GanttProject in the application menu instead of net.sourceforge.ganttproject,
- uses the projects gif file for its logo in the dock,
- puts the applications menus where Mac users expect them: up top with the system menus instead of in the frame.
